YouTube Foundry Program

Foundry is YouTube Music’s global artist development program focused on serving independent artists. Since its beginnings – in 2015 as a workshop series and in 2017 as an incubator dedicated to independent music – it’s been Foundry’s mission to help artists get to “the next level,” with the resources to navigate a rapidly evolving music business. YouTube provides these artists with dedicated partner support from YouTube and seed funding invested into the development of their content. The combination of access to resources and great teams enables artists to create and launch their music with greater impact and global reach.

YouTube its largest class to date, with 27 artists representing 14 countries, by providing marketing support for the first time ever to drive attention to the class. Coming off of the success of the Black Voices artist class launch, we used the same celebrated creative framework to elevate the voices of the Foundry class.
